Grayed Petals

Who grayed your once beautiful petals? Who tarnished your beauty, within and without?

You are not alone. There are many of us. Plenty of us. Millions of us, in fact.

And you cannot continue to give it power over your life.

You cannot grant it permission to keep destroying you, and your relationships. You cannot allow it to keep you in secret darkness. You cannot give it breath to continue slicing at your soul. You should not nurture it to eat up your beautiful spirit.

Who, or what, grayed your lovely petals? Who or what took away your brilliant colors?

“Isn’t there medicine in Gilead? Aren’t there doctors there? Then why hasn’t the health of my dear people been restored?” – Jeremiah 8:22 (GOD’S WORD® Translation)

Because sometimes, no matter how skilled a doctor is, how all knowing a psychiatrist is, how well read a scientist is, how inspiring a life coach is, or, how eloquent an inspirational speaker is, there are things that have happened to us that they do not have the power, the wisdom and the know how to heal and restore. It’s not their fault, it’s just that the darkness, the damage and the rot, run too deep, and there really is only One Person who can make us whole again.

Grayed petals…God is real. Ask for healing.

“Ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened for you.”  Matthew 7:7 (GOD’S WORD® Translation)

You see, when you do bring yourself to ask, the door will be opened to you and for you, and you will experience The One who will restore your brilliant colors. Take it from someone who has had tangible experience, and is not just writing for the sake of writing, but from someone whose colors have been, and are still being, restored.

Grayed petals, be restored. Be whole again. Fulfill your purpose.

  1. A.. A..Amazinggggg and so beautifully and eloquently written and explained. Wow what a great illustration between the greyed out rose and the grey feelings inside that will eat away at ones inner being. You are so correct about all the highly educated people with more degrees than a thermometer; some problems only God can and should be counsel for. Actually I feel all problems should be plugged into his prayer outlet first prior to seeking the outside counsel of woman/man.
